Sports : Richmond 1st, Chillicothe 6th, Trenton 7th At Chillicothe Golf Invitational

The Green Hills Golf Course in Chillicothe played host to the annual Chillicothe Invitational on Thursday, with the Richmond Lady Spartans winning the team championship with a score of 375, and Lawson High School's Maddie Propst winning individual medalist honors with an 18-hole score of 75, which is 3 over par.

Richmond's score of 375 was 16 better than the 391 from runner-up Kirksville. In third place were teams from Lawson and Moberly, tied at 397. Pembroke Hill was fifth at 405, with Chillicothe sixth at 412, Trenton seventh at 449, Benton eighth was 452, Cameron ninth at 543, and Tina-Avalon tenth at 618. Penney High School of Hamilton brought two golfers to the event, with the Chillicothe JV represented by three golfers.
