News : Mayor's Coffee Set For Wednesday Morning At Chillicothe

At Chillicothe, the Mayor’s Coffee is Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in the conference room, second floor of the new fire station.

The occasion gives the opportunity for the public to hear from Mayor Chuck Haney and various department heads, ask questions and take tours of city facilities.

Speakers for Wednesday will be Fire Chief Darrell Wright and Parks and Recreation
Director Josh Norris. The new Sprinter ambulance as well as some other fire equipment will
be on display. There will be tours of the new station which houses city fire and rural
department fire equipment and county ambulances.

Wright will speak on grants and new equipment the Chillicothe department has obtained
Norris will address the first year of operation for the new Chilli Bay Water Park; changes
coming for next summer and upcoming events at the park. Norris also is expected to discuss
Chillicothe hosting state tournaments this fall.

There will be refreshments and coffee. Tours will be given. The public is to enter the
east door of the fire station on Locust Street. Take the elevator to the second story. Parking for
the public will be on the south side of the Calvary Baptist Church across from the fire
department.
