News : “Remembering our Fallen” On Display In Princeton

The exhibit, called “Remembering our Fallen”, is a pictorial display of soldiers from Missouri who've died while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It's set up at the Mercer County Courthouse in Princeton. Persons can view the exhibit during regular office hours today as well as much of Saturday and Sunday.

A large number of photos of veterans and current members of the military can be viewed through the weekend in a store window of the Famous and others in Princeton. Events tonight at Princeton for Calamity Jane Days include a supper; tractor games; and a ranch rodeo.

Princeton Chamber of Commerce sponsors the supper beginning at 5 o'clock which is being held at the Mercer County Senior Center. The cost is five dollars per plate.

Some of todays' tractor cruise participants are expected to take part in tractor games about 6:30 tonight off the southeast corner of the Princeton square.

Another event on the calendar will be a Calamity Jane “ranch rodeo” tonight at 7 o'clock. It's to be held at the horse arena in Princeton. Cowboys and cowgirls,with their horses, are to participate in various events. Admission is free.

The cook shack at the arena will be open. Many more events and activities are Saturday and Sunday for Calamity Jane Days in Princeton.
