It appears 11 hundred jobs at Premium Standard Farms have been preserved following the announcement Wednesday evening of a negotiated agreement involving the Attorney General's office and PSF. The company has been given NEARLY two years to install equipment aimed at resolving odor issues at the hog barns.

A Fulton man was sentenced in federal court for his role in a series of armed bank robberies, including one in rural southeastern Sullivan County last year. Twenty-nine year old William Wolfe was arrested after a vehicle pursuit and shoot-out with law enforcement officials in west central Missouri.

The Missouri Supreme Court, in a unanimous decision issued Tuesday afternoon, ordered that an attorney in Chariton County, Renae Ehler, be disbarred. According to the state's Chief Disciplinary Counsel, Ehler violated five ethics rules, including using money she owed to clients to pay personal expenses.
