A man from Kearney was injured last night in a traffic accident five miles to the south of Eagleville.
The highway patrol listed injuries as moderate for 36-year-old Jeffrey Granville who was taken by ambulance to the Liberty Hospital.
The accident (at 9:10 pm) occurred when a southbound sports utility vehicle driven by Granville ran off the left side of Interstate 35, the driver over-corrected, and the vehicle went off the right side where it struck a tree and came to a stop on the driver side.
Extensive damage was noted to the SUV. Granville, according to the report, was not using a seat belt.
