University of Missouri Extension Nutrition and Health Education Specialist Janet Hackert will retire next month.
An open house to honor Hackert for her service will be held at the Harrison County Extension Office October 16th.
Cake will be served that morning from 8 o’clock to noon and that afternoon from 1 o’clock to 4:30. Hackert’s last day will be October 18th.
She has hosted classes and meetings on food preservation, health and wellness, nutrition, and fitness during her 20 years working with Extension and has worked with Harrison County Extension for the last 17 years.
