The Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education has offered a part-time teaching contract to Connie Critten to return to the district, she’s to teach middle school English.

Ms. Critten was a full-time instructor last school year at Tri-County before retiring and a fifth-grade teacher for several years.

The board offered daycare staff positions to Amber Mayberry of Trenton, Jennifer May from Jamesport, Jennifer Brewer and Jessica Griffin of Lock Springs, and Whitney Houser of Gallatin who also was offered an assistant softball coaching job.

A middle school social studies teacher Mike Tipton was offered an assistant baseball coaching position.

The board amended the non-certified salary schedule to consolidate maintenance pay scales and to add pay rates for the daycare staff.

Tuition rates were discussed, however, no action was taken.

Brandon Hoover was sworn-in as a new board member until April when the term ends.

The holds a public hearing the evening of August 29th regarding the district’s property tax levy. The hearing is at 6 o’clock that evening in the Superintendent’s office.

Classes begin August 18th at Jamesport Tri-County.
