The Jamesport May Days Festival, on Saturday, will include crafters and vendors, food, and entertainment, including performances by two bluegrass bands.

The daytime events are planned from 9 to 4 o’clock in and around the A.V. Spillman Event Center.  One of those organizing the activities is Misty Scott of Jamesport:

In addition to booths involving people from Jamesport and the local area, some are expected from Iowa and the general St. Joseph and Kansas City metropolitan areas, along with southern Missouri.  Admission is free to view the craft and vendor booths.  Entertainment is also planned for Saturday:

Saturday night in Jamesport will include a pork loin supper at 6 o’clock, followed by bluegrass music starting at 7.  Wayne Scott told our listeners about the two groups scheduled to perform after supper:

The cost for the supper and bluegrass music is $8.00 a person.  All of the events are promoted by the Jamesport Community Association. The website is jamesportmissouri.info (or search on Facebook for updates).
