Two arrests, in unrelated matters, are in today’s report from the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department.

An Iowa woman, 27-year-old Jessica Ann Rinehart of Kellogg, was arrested last Thursday on a warrant accusing her of failure to appear in circuit court at Trenton last month.

Bond was set at 15 thousand dollars cash pending her appearance Thursday, July 14 in division one of the Grundy county circuit court.

The original charges against her involved two counts of second-degree burglary, tampering with a motor vehicle and forgery, all from September 2010.  Last December, Ms. Rinehart was sentenced to seven years in prison on each count; then she was placed on five years probation.

The probation has now been suspended until further order of the circuit court.

A Princeton man, 33-year-old Cody Wayne Swan, has posted two thousand dollars cash bond on a felony stealing charge in Grundy County. The sheriff’s office reports Swan surrendered himself Saturday at the law enforcement center.

He’s been charged under the “stealing without consent” statute of Missouri law. The warrant accuses Swan of appropriating a cook stove and refrigerator May 8th from Yvonne Ulmer of Trenton.

He’s to appear on July 26th in the associate division of Grundy county circuit court.
