The Missouri State Highway Patrol, sometime during the month of July, will conduct a DWI Sobriety Checkpoint in Adair County, with additional DWI saturations coming to Adair, Chariton, Monroe, Ralls, and Randolph Counties.  The checkpoint will be conducted by the Highway Patrol, with cooperation from area law enforcement agencies.

The Patrol, as always, is asking for citizen assistance in continuing efforts to apprehend impaired drivers.  If you suspect a motorist of driving while impaired or observe a vehicle being driven in an erratic fashion, contact the nearest law enforcement agency, or the Highway Patrol directly at 1-800-525-5555 or, from cellular phones, by dialing *55.
