Hannibal man sentenced in death of convenience store clerk

Prison Sentence

HANNIBAL, Mo. (AP) – The last of five people charged in the robbery and killing of a northeast Missouri convenience store clerk has been sentenced to concurrent 18-year prison sentences.

The Hannibal Courier-Post (http://bit.ly/2d0Nwbs ) reports that Cuda Dodd of Hannibal was sentenced Thursday. He pleaded guilty in August to second-degree murder and first-degree robbery in the October 2013 death of Adrienne Arnett, who was fatally shot during a robbery at the store where she worked.

Authorities say Michael Studer fired the fatal shot. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison in 2014. Three others involved in the crime have also been sentenced.
