The season wrapped up for the Grundy R-5 girls in the district semifinal round at Green City, with a single-digit loss to Linn County. Despite the loss, it was one of the best seasons over the past several years for the Lady Panthers, who now are facing the loss of several players due to graduation and the suspension of the co-op agreement with Newtown-Harris, which added all-HDC player Abby Wells to the Grundy lineup this season.
