The Grundy R-5 School District will be conducting pre-school age and kindergarten screenings, and kindergarten enrollment, by appointment, on Friday, April 1st. The hours are from 8 until 11 and noon to 3 o’clock at the Galt Christian Church.
The screenings are for children ages 3 to 5. Children must be five years old by July 31st to be eligible for kindergarten. The Grundy R-5 School District says it is requiring kindergarten enrollment to be completed on that date.
Items to be taken to the appointment are immunization records, birth certificate, and social security card. The District noted it would be helpful to have copies made. An appointment can be made by contacting Charla Pipes at Grundy R-5 Elementary School in Humphreys.
