The Grundy County Health Department has signed a contract to continue providing services to women, infants, and children.

Under terms of the contract, the Grundy County Health Department will Serve 289.

WIC is a nutrition education program offering supplemental food for pregnant women and families with children under age five.

The health department says income guidelines are generous. For example, a family of four can earn up to nearly $45,000 and qualify, with pregnant women counted as two family members.

Additional information about WIC is available from Jeri Roberts or Elizabeth Gibson at the Grundy County Health Department.
