A Galt couple, Dennis and Becky McDonald, will host a Green Hills Farm Project tour at their farm this Saturday, March 25th.
The tour begins at 12 noon at 410 Northeast Highway J near Galt.
McDonald has done rotational grazing his pastures for over 25 years.
The tour will include stockpiled pasture usage for the fall-calving cow/calf pairs and the winter baleage of grass-finished young steers and develop bulls.
The McDonalds report the public is invited to lunch at noon Saturday with the farm tour to follow. They are asking that persons attending bring a food dish to share with others.
