The Second Annual Galt Fair Fall Festival will be held September 30th.

Activities include a bake sale, baked goods and pie baking contests, tail tag, face painting, Zingo, a bounce house, inflatables, scarecrow and pumpkin decorating contests, an archery shoot, fall photos taken with an antique buggy, a baby show, hay rides, Bingo, wood carving and blacksmith demonstrations, a dance, and a performance by One Horse Town from Kirksville.

There will also be vendor booths, merchant prize drawings, music provided by Beboppin’ Dave, and a concession stand. Proceeds will go toward new children’s park equipment.

A bake sale at the Galt Lions Hall starts at 9 o’clock this morning. A baked goods contest for ages 13 and younger as well as a pie baking contest for those 14 and older begins at the Galt Lions Hall at 10 o’clock.

Children’s activities, including tail tag, face painting, Zingo, a bounce house, and inflatables, will begin at 10 o’clock. An all-day pass for the activities costs $10 per child.

Scarecrow and pumpkin decorating contests will start at the Lions Hall at 10 o’clock. The scarecrows and pumpkins should be already decorated. Winners will be announced at 4 o’clock this afternoon.

Hayrides will be offered to start at noon. An archery shoot will be held south of the Lions Hall from 1 to 4 o’clock. Entry costs $5.

Registration for the baby show at the Lions Hall starts at 4:30. The contest begins at 5 o’clock.

A dance and entertainment by One Horse Town of Kirksville starts at 6:30 this evening.

A concession stand will sell hamburgers, hot dogs, walking tacos, nachos, funnel cakes, popcorn, hot chocolate, caramel apples, and drinks.
