Funeral services today for firefighter Edward “Ed” Cosgrove at Chillicothe

Funeral Services with full firefighter honors for Edward Cosgrove Junior of Utica will be held 10 AM Today at Lindley Funeral Home of Chillicothe.  It will include honor guards.

A funeral procession will travel from the Lindley funeral home south on Washington to U-S 36; then west on 36  to the Green Township Fire Protection District station at Utica  where firefighter honors will be completed. Private interment will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Green Township Fire Protection District.

According to KCHI Radio, there will be special parking restrictions for today to assist with the Funeral.

The Chillicothe Police Department is asking residents and anyone that parks along Cherry Street, from Calhoun to Polk Street to make alternate arrangements. They would like to have this area cleared for parking emergency vehicles that will be in Chillicothe for the funeral procession. These vehicles will start arriving at about 9:00 am and should be leaving by 11:00 am.


This will affect access to some businesses on Cherry Street, including the back entrance to The Constitution-Tribune as well as the Chillicothe Municipal Utility Office.
