The Trenton Kids Wresting Club had six participants in Saturday’s regional tournament at Staley High School in North Kansas City this past weekend. Out of the six, four have advanced to become eligible to advance to the state tournament.
Those reaching state eligibility are Tyler Siemer, who finished 2nd in the 12 and under-120 pound class, Sam Gibson, with a 3rd place mark at the 10 and under-100 pounds, Caleb Johnson – 4th place in the 12 and under -135 pound class, and Noah Lewis – 4th place in the 14 and under-155 pound division.
Other Trenton finishers from regionals were Hunter McAtee – 5th place in the 10 and under -70 pound class and Kaden Owen, finishing in 6th place in the 12 and under – 130 pound weight class.
