Numerous awards and scholarships will be presented on Friday night to members of the Trenton FFA Chapter.  The event inside the Trenton High School gymnasium begins with a 6 o’clock meal, with the announcement of honors to follow.  Meat for the meal will be donated by Farmland Foods.

The most recent “past president” of the FFA, Adam Kirby of Trenton, is expected to attend the banquet.  In a previous KTTN interview, Kirby explains the encouragement he offered, in a leadership position, to fellow FFA members:

Kirby indicated he “speaks from experience”, as he moved from a freshman FFA member to an eventual state officer.  While his term as Missouri FFA President ended at the State Convention last month, Kirby will continue another year as a member of the state officer team, in the role of “past president”.
