Emergency planning committee representatives from three counties will meet in Trenton on Tuesday, May 24th for a “table top exercise”. This will be held for members of local emergency planning committees in Grundy, Mercer, and Livingston Counties. The event is scheduled from 12 noon until 4 o’clock at the Trenton High School Commons. A light lunch will be provided.
Grundy County’s emergency planning director Glen Briggs calls the activity “an important exercise that not only allows members to talk through response plans, but also allows people from three counties to network with each other for a better understanding of what capabilities they can bring to a mutual aid response.”
