One of two occupants was injured Thursday when, according to the highway patrol, an eastbound car went off Highway 46 in northern Harrison County, twice, then struck a fence, and a utility pole.
18-year-old Elizabeth Bellinger of Eagleville received minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany.
She was a passenger in the car driven by 17-year-old Preston Trusty of Eagleville who wasn’t hurt.
The report noted Trusty was wearing a seat belt while his passenger did not.
Extensive damage was noted for the car in the accident yesterday eight miles to the east of the Hatfield community.
