A single vehicle accident on Highway 24 in Carroll County has injured a woman from DeWitt.
The highway patrol reports 32-year-old Holly Hayes was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
The crash occurred as the westbound car traveled off the right side of the road, the driver over-corrected, causing the car to travel off the left side where it hit the ditch, overturned, and was demolished.
Holly Hayes was not wearing a seat belt according to the accident report.
