Deer management workshop set for September 15 in Jamesport

Missouri Department of Conservation will host a landowner deer management workshop for whitetail enthusiasts Thursday evening September 15th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Jamesport Community Building located at the Jamesport City Park.

Featured presentations will include: Food Plot Fundamentals, Funky Food Plot Varieties, 2016 Regulation Changes and Mapping Hunting Strategies using aerial and topographic maps by Quality Deer Management Association Wildlife Co-op Specialist, Alex Foster. 

Resource materials, refreshments will be provided and door prizes given away.   The Thursday night event is free to the public but attendees are asked to preregister by Wednesday, September 14 with Scott Roy at the Grundy Co USDA office in Trenton.
