Today is the state-designated deadline for candidates to file for offices that will be on the ballot for the April 4th election.
This includes offices such as school boards of education, offices involving city positions, area townships, among others.
State law established a 5 o’clock deadline this afternoon for candidates to file in order to have their names printed on the ballots in time for the spring election.
