To assist the Trenton Kiwanis Club in raising funds for the kids Christmas Wish project, a group of cub scouts will be holding a fund-raiser Saturday, December 3 at a Trenton business.
Bear Cub Scouts from Trenton Pack 23 will have a bake sale and raffle starting at 8 o’clock Saturday morning at the ShopKo store in Trenton.
A spokesman for the group said the event is part of their fellowship and duty to God service project. He noted the boys chose to do a bake sale and decided, on their own, to donate the proceeds to the Trenton Kiwanis for Toys project to benefit other children of the community.
A raffle also is scheduled with purchasers of tickets having an opportunity to win gift certificates from Wild Onion and the Trenton Cinema.
