Construction will begin on the Danner Park walking trail in Chillicothe next week.
The Chillicothe Parks Department reports that Tandem Paving Company will start work Tuesday with transitional milling around the concessions area as well as other portions of the walking trail.
Demolition and reconstruction of deteriorated sections of the trail along the northwest portion of the park will be Wednesday.
Asphalt overlay will be put down Thursday and Friday.
Tandem Paving Company will do most of the work during the day as to not disturb activities taking place at Danner Park in the evenings. Work will be done as weather permits.
