A 31-year-old Chula resident, Chris Curd, won $100,000 playing the Missouri Lottery’s Black Pearls Scratchers game.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Trenton BP station while Curd was on his way to work last week.

Curd said he bought a few tickets winning $15.00, so he purchased three $5.00 tickets, one of which was the ticket that contained the $100,000 top prize.

Chris plans to purchase a house, probably the farmhouse he’s living in.

The Missouri Lottery said the Black Pearls scratchers game has prizes ranging from $5.00 to more than $100,000, with the game still having more than $6,200,000 in remaining prizes.
