Chillicothe teen transported by Life Flight after Friday crash

A Chillicothe teen was hurt when the car she was driving traveled off a road in Carroll County, hit a tree and came to rest on its top.

The highway patrol reports 19-year-old Amanda Osbon of Chillicothe was flown by medical helicopter to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City with moderate injuries.

The accident happened late Friday morning on Carroll County 130 as the car was westbound when it went off the left side of the road, hit the tree, and came to rest on its top demolishing the vehicle.

The patrol notes Ms. Osbon was not wearing a Seatbelt.
