Chillicothe Police Officers were very busy over the weekend, responding to many calls, including a deceased individual, a domestic assault arrest, and an arrest for a minor in possession of alcohol.

Officers received a report of peace disturbance in the 900 block of Elm Street. This investigation is on-going.

Officers received a report of an accident that occurred in a private parking lot and one driver left the scene.   Investigation continues.

Officers arrested Ashley May and Bianca Treadwell in the 500 block of West business 36 for minor in possession of alcohol.   May and Treadwell were processed at the police department, cited, and released.

Officers received a report of property damage in the 1300 block of Locust Street. Investigation continues.

 Officers responded to the 400 block of Webster Street to a report of a domestic disturbance. As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested Kyle Case for domestic assault. Case was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

 Officers responded to the 400 block of Elm Street to a report of tampering with a motor vehicle. Investigation continues.

Officers received a report of theft in the 900 block of Locust Street. Investigation continues.

Officers recovered a green Huffy bike in the 1000 block of Walnut Street. The bike was placed in storage until it can be claimed by its owner.

Officers began an investigation of possible child enticement over social media. This investigation is continuing.

Officers received a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of Third Street. Investigation continues.

Officers received a report of property damage in the 1300 block of Burnam Road. Investigation continues.

Officers received a report of an assault in the 400 block of Cherry Street. Investigation continues.

Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of Graves Street. No arrests were made.

Officers received a report of tampering with a victim in the 400 block of Webster Street.   Investigation continues.

Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Herriman Street. No arrests were made.

Officers responded to a report of a deceased person in the 1500 block of Second Street.   Officers reported the resident had passed away from natural causes. No foul play is suspected.
