Chillicothe Police Department responds to multitude of calls for service

The Chillicothe Police Department has been busy over the last week, responding to a multitude of calls, including arrests, accidents, assaults and more.

Officers received a report of a motor vehicle accident, where one driver left the scene, in a private parking lot in the 1700 block of Locust Street.

CPD Officers responded to a business parking lot in the 1000 block of Graves Street to a report of a fight in progress. Officers arrested Colten Ashford and Miles Waller for Disorderly Conduct by fighting in public. Ashford and Waller were processed at the police department, cited, and released.

A report of property damage in the 800 block of Dale Drive was received. This invstigation is on-going.

The department responded to a report of theft in the 1000 block of Graves Street. As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested Sean Stretch for theft. Stretch was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail. Officers also arrested Kyle McGrath for theft, a Livingston County warrant for failing to appear on a traffic violation, and a Benton County warrant for failing to appear on a conservation violation. McGrath was processed at the police department, posted the required bond on the charge and the warrants and was released from custody.

Officers responded to the 1300 block of Third Street to a report of two small children in the street. Officers located the children, who had been removed from the street by a concerned citizen that had driven by the location. Officers were able to locate the parents of the children, who had been asleep inside the residence. An investigation was conducted with the assistance of the Livingston County Children’s Division. No charges are being sought at this time.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of St. Louis Street.   Officers reported the incident to be verbal in nature, parties agreed to separate for the evening, and no arrests were made.

Officers received a report of an assault in the 600 block of Webster Street. As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested James Mohr for assault. Mohr was processed at the police department, cited, and released after he posted a cash bond.

Officers responded to a 3 vehicle non-injury accident on Clay Street near Martin Street.   Officers reported a vehicle driven by Roxanne Hale was westbound on Clay Street and struck two legally parked vehicles. Moderate damage was reported to the vehicles.

Officers arrested Colton Duncan for driving while suspended at Calhoun Street and Easton Street.   Duncan was processed at the police department, cited, and released.

Officers arrested Daric Eaton, Cameron, on a State of Missouri Parole Violation warrant. Eaton was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.
