Chillicothe Police Department respond to a variety of calls over weekend, including several arrests

The Chillicothe Police Department has released highlights of various calls starting with Thursday, April 14th. Calls include several arrests, as well as responding to a death in the 1900 block of Polk.  

CPD officers responded to 247 calls for service over the weekend, April 15 through April 17th.

Officers arrested David A. Keeling in the 10 block of S. Washington Street on a Caldwell County Probation/Parole violation Warrant. Keeling was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail and is being held on a $25,000.00 Cash bond.

Officers took a female into custody for self-protection in the 2700 block of North Washington Street. The female was transported to a court ordered treatment center for further evaluation.

The CPD responded to the 1300 block of Third Street to a report of a disturbance.  The incident was found to be a custody dispute and was resolved by following court ordered custody agreement.

Officers arrested William Burfield-Farley, Christopher Campbell, and Nicholas Reed for shoplifting at a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street.  Each was processed at the police department.  Reed was cited for theft and released.  Burfield-Farley was cited for theft and held on a separate charge relating to another incident.  Campbell was cited and held for felony theft and on separate charges relating to another incident.

Billy Albert Hatfield was arrested in the 1100 block of McNally Street on a Livingston County warrant for possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, and a State of Missouri Parole Warrant.  Hatfield was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.

The CPD responded to the 1900 block of Polk Street to a report of an unresponsive person.  The resident was found to be deceased of unknown causes.  Investigation is pending autopsy results.

Officers received a report of theft in the 1000 block of Graves Street.  Two juvenile suspects have been identified and the report is being forwarded to the Livingston County Juvenile Office.

Johnathan Bergesen was arrested in the 1200 block of Jackson Street for driving while revoked.  Bergesen was processed at the police department, cited, and released.

Justin Nei was arrested in the 1000 block of Graves Street on a Cass County, Missouri warrant for Non-Support.  Nei was unable to post bond and was transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail pending extradition to Cass County.

Officers responded to the 2700 block of North Washington Street to a report of a domestic disturbance that occurred earlier in the day in a vehicle within the city limits of Chillicothe.  The incident was determined to be verbal and the parties agreed to separate.

Jill Boley was arrested for felony driving while revoked following a traffic stop at Washington Street and Ann Street.  Boley was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.
