Chillicothe Police Department conducts massive drug sweep

On Friday, March 11, 2016, the Chillicothe Police Department conducted an operation that resulted in the arrest of several individuals on drug charges. These charges were a result of a lengthy investigation conducted by Chillicothe Police Officers.

The following subjects were arrested after Livingston County warrants were issued that stemmed from ongoing investigations:

Trinity Joe Helm – 1 count for the distribution of a controlled substance. $50,000 cash bond.

Amanda Kay Ridens – 2 counts for the distribution of a controlled substance. $100,000 cash bond.

Tiffany Latouria Midgyett – 1 count for the distribution of a controlled substance near a school. $25,000 cash bond.

Jefferson Orrville Patton – 1 count for the distribution of a controlled substance. $75,000 cash bond.

During the warrant arrests listed above, the following subjects were arrested after criminal activity was discovered by the arresting officers. At the time of this press release these subjects were being held pending the filing of criminal charges:

Janice Lee Cooper- shoplifting and possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia.

Harry Helm – possession of a controlled substance marijuana.

Gary Johnson – possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mitchell Loucks – unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Todd Clampitt- driving with a suspended license.

Savioun Eshman Sullivan- possession of a controlled substance- marijuana

Martavious J. Sullivan- possession of a controlled substance- marijuana

The following subjects are being sought and have active arrest warrants for the following charges:

Michaela LeAnn Mathews – Livingston County warrant for distribution of a controlled substance. $50,000 cash bond.

Amber R. Walton – Livingston County warrant for distribution of a controlled substance. $50,000 cash bond.

Jacob Mathew Powell – 2 Livingston County warrants for the distribution of a controlled substance near a school. $75,000 cash bond.

Billy Robert Jenkins – Livingston County warrant for the distribution of a controlled substance near a school. $50,000 cash bond.

Travis William Walker – Livingston County warrant for the possession of controlled substance being methamphetamine. $25,000 cash bond.

 

The Chillicothe Police Department is going to great lengths to ensure the safety and security of the citizens of Chillicothe. We don’t do this to bring negative publicity to our wonderful community, but to strive to keep our community safe and clean. This investigation was conducted as a result of hard work and dedication from your Chillicothe Police Officers.

We would like to thank the Livingston County Prosecuting Attorney and the Livingston County Associate Judge for their time and assistance in this investigation. We also would like to thank the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Brookfield Police Department along with K-9 Nitro for their participation and assistance on this operation.
