The Chillicothe Police Department has been very busy the first week of July responding to a variety of calls.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident in a private parking lot in the 200 block of North Washington Street.   Officer advised a vehicle driven by Kenton Williams backed into a vehicle driven by Selena Mathews causing moderate damages.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident at Washington Street and Third Street.   Officers reported a vehicle driven by Skylar Paris struck a vehicle driven by Shelby Davis causing moderate damage to the vehicles.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident at Washington Street and Polk Street.   Officers reported a vehicle driven by Amanda James struck a vehicle driven by Daniel Erhard causing moderate damages. James was cited for following too closely resulting in an accident.

Officers located 2 runaway juveniles from Saline County on Washington Street near First Street. The juveniles were taken into custody and transferred to the custody of the Children’s Division.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of Broadway Street regarding a loud music complaint. Officers had been to the residence on two occasions prior to the last call. Officers cited Natalie Beaderstadt and Nicholas Lawson for disturbing the peace.

Officers conducted a well-being check in the 100 block of Calhoun Street. A subject was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.

Officers received a report of an on-going domestic violence incident in the 200 block of Woodrow. This investigation is on-going.

Officers received a report of burglary and theft in the 1000 block of Frederick Street. This investigation is on-going.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of South Washington Street regarding a dog left in a vehicle. Officers cited Shane Goff for cruelty and mistreatment to animals.

 Officer took a subject into custody for self-protection in the 300 block of Clay Street. The subject was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment and later to St. Joseph, MO for further treatment.

Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street to a report of theft. Officers arrested Crissia White for theft. White was transported to the police department where she was processed, cited, and released.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Elm Street.   Officer determined the incident was verbal and no arrests were made.

 Officers cited Melissa Wysocki for animal neglect in the 1000 block of Graves Street after officers responded to a call of a dog left in a hot vehicle.

Officers arrested Harold Shea for Driving While Revoked, Driving While intoxicated, operating a motorcycle without an endorsement, and no insurance, following a traffic stop at Third Street and Virginia Avenue. Shea was processed at the police department, cited, and released.

 Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street to a report of theft. Officers arrested Jacquelyn Wilkerson for theft, burglary 1st degree, possession of a controlled substance, possession of fewer than 35 grams of marijuana, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.   Wilkerson was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

Officers arrested Steven Kiger, known to frequent the states of California, Colorado, and Florida, for possession of fewer than 35 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, following contact with Kiger in Simpson Park. Kiger was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

Officers received a report of fraudulent activity to a victim’s bank account in the 900 block of Webster Street.   Investigation continues.

Officers arrested Richard Stumph for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, and failing to properly display a license plate, following a traffic stop at Washington Street and Calhoun Street. Stumph was processed at the police department, cited, and released.

Officer responded to a hit and run accident in a private parking lot in the 500 block of South Washington Street. This investigation is on-going.

Officers responded to Washington Street and Business 36 to a two vehicle non-injury accident. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Jean Burton struck a vehicle driven by Christina Gamble causing minor damage.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident at Washington Street and Park Lane.   Officers reported a vehicle driven by Donald Webb struck a vehicle driven by Bobby Brown causing minor damage.
