Chillicothe Police Department answers over 230 calls during a three-day period

The Chillicothe Police Department has been busy as usual, this week answering over 230 calls for service in the last three days.  Here are some highlights of their calls.

Officers were dispatched to a person producing a gun in the 1000 block of S. Washington St.  The investigation is on-going.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a child unattended in the street at Easton St. and Tenth St.  The parent was located and the child was returned.

Officers took a report of a possible violation of an order of protection in the 300 block of Clay St.

Officers took a report of stealing in the 800 block of Adam Drive.  The investigation is on-going.

Officers arrested Clarence Oscar Leonard on an active arrest warrant out of Trenton, MO, for failure to appear.  Leonard was processed at the Police Department.  He posted the required $200.00 cash only bond and was released pending a court appearance.

Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury traffic crash which occurred on MO Hwy. 190 near N. Washington St.  A vehicle driven by Kennedie L. Kieffer collided with the rear of a vehicle driven by Jordan G. Hopper while attempting to turn onto N. Washington St.  Minor damage was reported.

Officers took a report of a leaving the scene of a traffic crash in the 1000 block of Bus. Hwy. 36.  The investigation is on-going.

Officers were dispatched to a vicious dog in the 300 block of Clay St.  The owner, Kayla Danielle Barron, was located and issued a citation for dog running at large.

Officers took a report of stealing in the 1700 block of Hickory Dr.  The investigation is on-going.

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1100 block of Clay St.  As a result, Carl Edward Derrickson was arrested for disorderly conduct.  He was processed at the Police Department.  He was released pending a court appearance.
