Officers completed an investigation on a person possibly being in possession of child pornography. Officers have submitted a report to the Livingston County Prosecutor for consideration of charges.

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 100 block of Trenton Road. Officers assisted EMS with a patient that needed to be transported to Hedrick Medical Center for evaluation.

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 200 block of Walnut Street. The incident was verbal and no arrests were made.

Officers arrested Dustin L. Ritchie in the 10 block of South Washington Street on a Livingston County Parole violation warrant. Ritchie was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.

 Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury accident at the intersection of Polk and Elm Street. Officers reported that a vehicle driven by Shanna L Trantham was northbound on Elm Street and failed to stop at the stop sign. The Trantham vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Megan Meyers that was eastbound on Polk Street. 

Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop at Washington and Curtis Street.  Officers arrested Amber D. Anderson for driving while suspended and failure to register a vehicle with the Director of Revenue. Anderson was transported to the Police Department where she was processed and released on Municipal Citations.

Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the 2700 block of N Washington Street Officers arrested Joshua G. Holtzclaw for driving while suspended. Holtzclaw was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and released on a Municipal Citation.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Jansen Street. The incident was determined to be verbal and no arrests were made.

 Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 400 block of Dickinson Street. Officers arrested Courtney R. Michael for possession of fewer than 35 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia. Michael was transported to the Police Department where she was processed and released on Municipal Citations.

Officers were dispatched to a report of stealing from a business in the 1200 block of Washington Street. Officers identified the male seen on surveillance video conceal an item and leave the store without paying for it. Officers responded to the 400 block of Jackson and arrested Neal James Miller for stealing. Miller was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and transferred to Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.

 Officers were dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle non-injury accident at the intersection of Hwy 190 and Grand Drive. Officers reported that a vehicle driven by Justin W. Meierer was eastbound on Hwy 190 slowing to make a left turn onto Grand Ave and was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Scotta D. Jenkins causing extensive damage.

 Officer’s responded to Fairway and Country Club Drive regarding a motor vehicle accident. Officer’s determined Ronald Jay Singer was operating a Harley motorcycle and ran a stop sign colliding with a vehicle operated by Tammy Lynn Smith. Minor injuries were reported by Singer but he refused medical treatment. Moderate damage was reported to both vehicles.
