A man from Chillicothe, operating a motorcycle, was killed late last night in a Highway 65 accident in rural Carroll County.
The highway patrol reported 30-year-old Cody Adkison of Chillicothe was pronounced dead at the scene by the Carroll County coroner. Adkison was riding a motorcycle when it struck a deer in the roadway, ejecting him from the machine just prior to midnight.
The motorcycle was demolished in the accident near county road 508. The report noted Adkison was using a safety device.
