The Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce has been on a roll during the second quarter of 2016 when it comes to membership enrollment.

They have added 18 new members due to a unique promotion that they have been able to offer. “Until June 30th, we are offering a one-time promotion for any new member or inactive member of 3+ years to join the Chamber for only $75,” said Crystal Narr, Executive Director for the Chillicothe Chamber. “We’ve been promoting that ‘we are not your grandfather’s Chamber anymore’ and that is so true. We have updated our way of doing business to better serve our members and the community as a whole. We welcome anyone looking to grow their business or organization to give the Chamber a try in 2016.”

The Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce offers unique networking opportunities each month including monthly luncheons, mixers, special events such as Behind the Scenes tours of local industry & a leadership book club, along with hosting community events like the Chautauqua in the Park and the annual Holiday Parade.

“Everyone joins the Chamber for different reasons. Some are looking to increase their clientele, others are looking to become more involved in the community and some do it simply because it is the right thing to do. No matter the reason, we want all of our members to be engaged and keep coming back for more,” said Narr. “Each member’s involvement is what makes the Chamber such a great organization to belong to.”

“This type of promotion is very uncommon for us, “ stated Maria Peters, Membership Coordinator for the Chillicothe Chamber, “There has never been a better time to join than right now.”
