Chillicothe authorities search for man who attempted burglary and robbery late this afternoon

At approximately 4:15 today, Tuesday, April 12, Chillicothe police dispatch received an emergency call of an alleged, attempted residential burglary and attempted robbery in the 1500 block of Bryan Street in Chillicothe.

The male resident greeted a man at the door described as a white male, approximately thirty to thirty two years of age, six foot, two inches, to six foot three inches in height, approximately two hundred pounds, clean shaven with a bald head.

The suspect was alone, wearing darker dress pants or slacks, a darker, dress type coat or jacket and wearing white latex style gloves.

The suspects is considered dangerous, and last seen eastbound on Bryan Street.

No injuries were reported and it is unknown if the suspect was armed.

The suspect fled on foot, and may also have been under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

Officers from the Chillicothe Police and Livingston County Sheriff’s Office continue searching for the suspect.
