Monday, March 7th is the date for both a public hearing and a budget workshop by the City of Chillicothe.
The hearing involves consideration of the distribution of capital improvement sales tax funds. New items for consideration include an access road off U.S. Highway 65 for the Chillicothe R-2 School campus, structural repairs to a wall at the police station, and construction of a new hangar at the Chillicothe Airport.
The hearing on Monday night begins at 6 o’clock. The budget workshop that same night begins at 6:30 as the council considers the proposed 2016-2017 City of Chillicothe budget.
Both sessions will be conducted in the Council Chambers at Chillicothe City Hall.
