A Bosworth boy was injured Tuesday morning in a single vehicle accident in northeastern Carroll County. The Highway Patrol listed injuries as minor for 12 year old Ethan Elliott.
He was a passenger in a car driven by 33 year old Amanda Elliott of Bosworth. She was not hurt. The boy was transported by private vehicle to receive medical treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
The Patrol said the westbound car traveled off Carroll county Route Double-N struck an embankment, and overturned, coming to rest upright. The car was demolished in the wreck at 7:40 this morning – about a quarter mile east of County Road 139.
Both occupants were using seat belts.
