Cameron woman injured after SUV struck from behind

A Cameron woman was injured Monday afternoon April 11, in an accident one mile to the north of Cameron.

The highway patrol listed injuries as minor for 42 year old Toosdhi Abner who was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center.

Two sports utility vehicles were northbound on U-S Highway 69 when a vehicle driven by Ms. Abner slowed to make a left turn and was struck from behind.

The other SUV was operated by 39 year old Rebecca Gripka of Weatherby who wasn’t hurt.

Both drivers were using seat belts.

Motor vehicle damage was moderate.
