Cameron man injured in two vehicle accident near Osborn

Two vehicles were involved in an accident Tuesday afternoon two miles east of Osborn.

The highway patrol reported westbound vehicles on U-S 36 were driven by forty seven year-old David Thomas of Cameron, and twenty five year-old Christian Grebner of Maysville.

An officer reports Thomas was slowing to make a right turn onto Hedge Road when his car was struck from the rear. Both the car and Grebner’s truck slid off the north side of 36.

David Thomas received moderate injuries, and was taken by ambulance to the Cameron Regional Medical Center. The accident report shows the car as demolishedand the truck receiving moderate damage.

Both drivers were using safety devices.

The highway patrol was assisted by DeKalb county sheriff’s office and Cameron Fire department.
