The Highway Patrol reports a Cameron man sustained minor injuries after losing control of his sports utility vehicle in Jackson County overnight during the early morning hours of Friday at 1:40 am.
Twenty-five year old Aaron Dueker lost control of the vehicle on westbound Interstate 70 when the SUV he was driving struck a median barrier and a metal guardrail, demolishing the vehicle.
Dueker was transported to Truman Lakewood Hospital in Lee’s Summit.
The Patrol reports he wore a seat belt at the time of the accident and it was noted the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department assisted.
