A pickup truck struck a deer on Highway 36 near Laclede Sunday morning resulting in minor injuries to the driver of the pickup.
36-year old Crystal Blackwell of Brookfield refused treatment at the scene one mile west of Laclede.
The pickup was westbound on Highway 36 when it struck the deer causing moderate damage.
Ms. Blackwell was wearing a seatbelt.
