Brookfield woman hurt in accident east of Chillicothe

A Brookfield woman was injured last evening when her vehicle was involved in an accident seven and a half miles east of Chillicothe.

The highway patrol reports 60-year-old Janice Duvall received minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

A sports utility vehicle was eastbound when it traveled off the left side of US 36, through the median, became airborne as it crossed westbound Highway 36. After striking the pavement and traveling into the ditch, the SUV overturned coming to rest upright.

The vehicle was demolished in the 7 pm Thursday night accident.

Ms. Duvall was wearing a seat belt.
