The University of Missouri Extension will offer a class to help individuals control and improve brain health.
The Boost Your Brain and Memory: Brain Fitness Class will be held at the Grand River MultiPurpose Center in Chillicothe starting next month. The class will run for eight consecutive Wednesday afternoons from November 1st to December 20th from 1:30 to 2:30.
A whole-person approach will be used which helps individuals to form new habits to live a healthier lifestyle, remember things better, be more organized, pay closer attention, and regulate emotions. It may also help reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia.
Participants will receive a workbook, including memory exercises, tips on nutrition and exercise, and summaries of evidence-based research on brain health.
