A Burkesville, Kentucky man sustained moderate injuries when his vehicle overturned on Interstate 35 about four miles north of Eagleville Friday morning.
The Highway Patrol reports 23-year-old Kenneth Anderson drove north when his tractor trailer truck traveled off the west side of the road into the median.
Anderson overcorrected, causing the vehicle to overturn and its towed unit to disconnect. The towed unit skidded off the east side of the road and came to rest on its side in the median. The tractor trailer was totaled.
EMS transported Anderson to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany.
The Patrol reports he did not wear a safety device at the time of the accident.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, the Bethany Police Department, and North Harrison EMS and Fire assisted.
