ATV accident injures one near Kingston

A Hardin resident was hurt late Saturday afternoon when the all-terrain vehicle he was operating overturned on private property northwest of Kingston.

28-year-old Dustin Finley of Hardin was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The accident happened in a field four miles northwest of Kingston when the ATV was going up a hill, became airborne, hit the ground, and overturned, coming to rest on top of Finley, who had been thrown from the ATV.

Finley was not wearing safety equipment.

Damage to the machine was described as minor.
