Arrest warrants issued for Casey’s robbery in Unionville

Warrants have been issued in Putnam County for the arrest of two men whom authorities describe as suspects in what was reported to be an armed robbery of the Casey’s General Store in Unionville late the night of October 15th.

As a result of the investigation, warrants accuse both persons with first-degree robbery. One defendant also is accused of armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm. Bond is $75,000 cash.

The second suspect, in addition to the robbery charge, also faces a misdemeanor charge of stealing less than $500 dollars. Bond for the second suspect is $50,000 cash.

The charges are listed in online court records for Putnam County Circuit Court but there’s no indication that the suspects have been arrested.

The amount of money stolen has not been disclosed in the Casey’s hold up at Unionville.
