Area students selected for Grand River Conference Scholar Bowl

High school students from Trenton and Milan have been selected for the Grand River Conference Scholar Bowl first time team.

Selections include Aidan Clark, a senior at Trenton high school and Kelvin Vieyra, a sophomore at Milan high school who are among five students chosen for the first team.

Second team selections from this area include Trey Maddaleno, a junior at Putnam County of Unionville and Graydee Rains, a senior at Gallatin.

Because of a tie, the second team includes six students.

Regular season standings for scholar bowl competition in the GRC shows Polo winning in the east division and King City taking first place in the west division. Both schools won all seven of their conference matches.

In the eastern division, Trenton high school had six wins and one loss in the scholar bowl competitions.
